The SC-LX57 features an integrated SABRE 32bit Ultra DAC from ESS Technology Inc., the industry benchmark for digital-to-analog audio conversion, for music reproduction with complete fidelity. With Audio Scaler, even standard CD-quality content is upscaled up to 192kHz/32-bit for a "Hi-Res" experience. The receiver plays and supports gapless playback of DSD, Hi-Res AIFF, Apple Lossless, WAV, and FLAC files.

Play music in other rooms via HDZone, a Zone 2 HDMI output to send the same signal as the main zone or a separate source to a second zone via HDMI. There's also a digital connection to connect the receiver to your iPod, iPhone, iPad, or Android device (via MHL), and you can enjoy worldwide internet radio (vTuner) and network streaming via DLNA or Apple AirPlay when connected via LAN.

ECO mode saves power without compromising sound and video performance. Compatible smartphone and tablet apps include the free iControlAV2013 advanced remote control app.

The Audio Scaler increases audio quality by expanding the two-channel digital signal to 32-bit for improved resolution and density, increasing the sampling rate to 192 kHz, reducing noise, and enhancing the characteristics of the digital signal to enrich sound reproduction.

You can control ECO Mode using the receiver's front panel, the included remote control, or the ECO Manager page of Pioneer's free iControlAV2013 app for your smartphone or tablet.

Connect an Android smartphone
Stream high-quality video and audio from an Android device using a single cable. Thanks to the MHL-compatible HDMI connection on the front panel, you can also charge your device at any time.

Easy Streaming:
DLNA and AirPlay are widely compatible with PCs, laptops, smartphones, and other devices. Since this receiver is DLNA and AirPlay certified, you can easily stream audio from these devices. Apple AirPlay lets you stream music from your entire iTunes library.

The reimagined iControlAV2013 remote control
lets you modify all the receiver's important functions from your smartphone or tablet (iOS/Android). The 2013 version features a new user interface and easy-to-navigate menu, as well as a dedicated "ECO MANAGER" page for energy-saving settings. Pioneer's PUSH PLAYER, a new streaming option, lets you access music libraries stored on your device and create playlists that can be wirelessly streamed to the receiver, all from within the app.
