BluOS Streaming Module

The CI S1 BluOS Module is a versatile single zone streamer and source capture, designed for scalability in a compact 1/3 width x 1U height design. With the award-winning BluOS hi-res multi-room platform on board and out of the box, it features virtually limitless audio content with the flexibility to control where, how, and when that content is played.

Compact Performance

Part of NAD’s new CI Modular Series, the CI S1 is designed with minimal rack space requirements (1/3 width x 1U height) while offering virtually limitless audio content and an in-built audiophile-grade ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M DAC. BluOS Enabled right out of the box, stream from over 20 natively integrated music services and access global internet radio, cast content from Bluetooth or Apple AirPlay2 devices, and physically connect to and distribute content from other digital or analogue devices. Manage which sources to play when and where, all through BluOS, or through any of the popular control systems with driver support integrated, including Control4, Crestron, URC, RTI, NICE, Lutron, and KNX. Monitor device status remotely via our broader ecosystem partner, Domotz.

Add Streaming to New or Retrofit

Although the CS S1 is a single zone streamer, it offers extra flexibility via its Main Zone/Sub Zone configuration option where two pre-outs can feed the same stream to two amplified outputs, complete with separate volume controls. Designed with wall-mount keyholes, two styles of rack ears, and a tool-free interlocking in-rack design, and rubber feet for surface placement, it offers integrators ultimate use case versatility to deliver modern streaming solutions to any installation for any use case. The CI S1 is the easiest and most space-efficient way to add streaming, connectivity, and audio zone management to a new or existing installation.

Abundant Connectivity

The CI S1 has a comprehensive set of inputs and outputs available, ensuring that any source, whether cloud or direct, can be connected and streamed wherever the client wants it. With WiFi and ethernet, digital and analogue audio inputs with signal sensing, sub out, and assignable 12V trigger in and 12V trigger out, it offers integrators an unprecedented amount of flexibility in connectivity.
